Blue Sky Bank Blue Sky Bank Cushing, OK Cushing, OK Full-time Full-time Blue Sky Bank is hiring for a Bank Branch Market President for our Cushing, Oklahoma branches.
The Bank Branch Market President for Blue Sky Bank's Cushing, Oklahoma branches is responsible for overseeing the bank's commercial and consumer lending activities in the area for the branch.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
soliciting, negotiating, analyzing, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of commercial and consumer loans in compliance with the bank's lending policies and procedures and developing business checking and deposit relationships with customers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR BANK BRANCH MARKET PRESIDENT Engages in business development activities and solicitation of new business; actively involved in instilling and maintaining a positive sales environment through education of Blue Sky Bank's products and services.
Interviews prospective applicants and requests specified information related to loan or credit application; corresponds or re-interviews applicants to resolve questions regarding application information.
Performs assessment and analysis of financial condition and risk of financing requests within framework of Blue Sky Bank's credit culture and current economic and industry trends.
Gathers and analyzes all information necessary to present to senior management and the Loan Committee for approval.
Approves and coordinates processing of approved loans; ensures loans are processed according to agreement, customer needs, and conforms to Blue Sky Bank's lending policies.
Authorizes framework, commitment, engagement, and decline letters.
Develops and maintains knowledge of financial industry, economy, market conditions, rates, vendors, and competition.
Represents Blue Sky Bank in various community, civic, and community reinvestment functions to further enhance Blue Sky Bank's image and develop additional business; assists Blue Sky Bank in establishing and maintaining market position in the financing arena.
Responsible for meeting annual loan and deposit growth goals assigned by senior management; participates in various internal committees assigned by senior management.
Works with and support other employees of the Wagoner branch of Blue Sky Bank; even those employees that functionally report to a different department supervisor.
Assures compliance with all Blue Sky Bank policies, procedures and processes, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules and regulations; adheres to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) responsibilities that are specific to the position.
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS OF BANK BRANCH MARKET PRESIDENT Advanced experience, knowledge and training in financial statement and tax return analysis typically resulting from a combination of education in accounting, financial and/or credit analysis or related areas.
Advanced knowledge of commercial, construction, real estate and consumer loan production.
Intermediate knowledge of loan production and branch operation procedures and proficiency in banking software and excel.
Excellent organizational and time management skills and exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Some travel required.
EDUCATION OF BANK BRANCH MARKET PRESIDENT Bachelor's Degree (BA) from accredited University (Required).
EXPERIENCE OF BANK BRANCH MARKET PRESIDENT Banking:
7 years (Required).
