ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll DoThis individual must be a senior student from an accredited radiologic technology program and must present documentation of that status.
This individual must be able to operate all routine radiographic equipment in a safe and proficient manner.
Must demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions.
This individual must be able to demonstrate proficiency in operating the PACS computer system.
The successful candidate will be able to:
o Produce high quality radiographs with a minimum of repeatso Handle multiple room assignments and all different types of exams on a daily basiso Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactionso Communicate with physicians, patients, families, and other hospital personnelo Oversee duties assigned to student radiographerso Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer systemQualificationsWhat You'll Bringo Must be a senior student from an accredited radiologic technology programo BLS Certificarion requerieso Good interpersonal, communication, team-work, and customer service skillso Strong organizational, problem-solving and follow-through skillso Ability to multi-task constantly, react to changes quickly/productively, and tolerate interruptionso Remain flexible, organized, professional and able to analyze, make sound decisions under stressful situations Recommended Skills Basic Life Support Communication Customer Service Multitasking Problem Solving Radiology Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
