ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll DoWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse Educator to join our dynamic healthcare team at Hillcrest - Cushing.
As a key member of our education department, you will play a vital role in enhancing the clinical knowledge and skills of our nursing staff.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Training:
Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive clinical training programs to ensure our nursing staff maintains the highest standards of patient care.
You will provide hands-on instruction, including simulation exercises and real-time feedback to promote effective clinical decision-making and technical competence.
Curriculum Development:
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and update evidence-based curriculum materials.
These resources will include clinical procedures, patient care protocols, and guidelines, ensuring that the nursing staff remains updated with the latest medical advancements.
Skill Enhancement:
Identify learning needs and opportunities for skills enhancement among nursing staff.
Customize educational plans to address these needs, supporting the continual professional development of our nurses.
Clinical Mentorship:
Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to nurses, helping them apply theoretical knowledge to real-world clinical situations.
Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning within the nursing team.
Assessment and Evaluation:
Develop and implement evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness of educational programs.
Use assessment data to identify areas for improvement and refine training methodologies accordingly.
Research Integration:
Integrate the latest clinical research and best practices into educational content.
Promote evidence-based care and guide nurses in applying research findings to their clinical practice.
QualificationsWhat You'll Bring Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Bachelors degree in Nursing (or currently enrolled into a BSN program) ; Masters degree in Nursing Education or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
BLS - upon hire ACLS, and PALS within the first 60 days of hire Strong clinical knowledge and proficiency in various nursing procedures.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
Proficient in using technology for educational purposes.
Recommended Skills Adaptability Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Basic Life Support Certified Nurse Practitioner Clinical Nursing Clinical Practices Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
