OverviewJoin Hillcrest Cushing as a PRN, Variable Shift, ER, RN!Individuals within this job classification are accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with BMC standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
The Registered Nurse (RN) must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in the unit.
This individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
The RN is to plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
He/she is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
This individual will supervise and monitor LPN's as needed.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions 1.
Administers medications/treatments effectively and skillfully.
2.
Demonstrates safe and effective use of equipment.
3.
Effectively evaluates the outcomes of interventions and implements necessary changes to plan of care.
4.
Collaborates with other health professionals in the management of health care.
5.
Documents assessments, interventions (including use of supplies and equipment), and outcomes of care accurately, objectively, and timely.
6.
Assesses patient/family learning needs, abilities and readiness to learn and integrate needs into plan of care.
Provides basic education/orientation to patient/families.
7.
Demonstrates knowledge of patient rights.
Serves as an advocate for patient/families in regard to decisions affecting the plan of care.
Has knowledge of process for resolution of ethical dilemmas.
8.
Abides by facility performance and behavioral standards.
9.
Demonstrates knowledge of conditions, diseases, and treatment therapies for unit specific patient populations.
10.
Demonstrates knowledge of:
Accuracy of patient identification; Effectiveness of communication among caregivers; Improve the safety of high-alert medications; Eliminate wrong-site, wrong-patient, wrong-procedure surgery; Safety of using infusion pumps; Effectiveness of clinical alarm systems; Reduce the risk of nosocomial infections.
QualificationsEducation:
ADN or BSNKnowledge/ Skill/Abilities:
Registered Nurse
Experience:
A minimum of 1 year ER experience.
Licensure/Certification:
Oklahoma or applicable Multi-State RN license (upon hire)BLS (upon hire)ACLS (within 30 days of hire)PALS (within 30 days of hire)TNCC (preferred but not required) Recommended Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Alarm Devices Assessments Basic Life Support Certified Nurse Practitioner Clinical Works Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
